David L. Treat
David Treat's practice area includes first party liability claims (involving foundations, mold, and arson) and liability cases (auto, premises, false arrest, legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, sexual assault). He also handles commercial cases involving breach of contract, fraudulent real estate transactions, or contested wills. Mr. Treat has lectured extensively on how to handle insurance claims and has authored seminar papers on this topic. He is board certified in both personal injury law and civil trial law.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Treat practiced law for a year in New York City before returning to San Antonio to work for Fulbright & Jaworski as a member of the Tort Litigation Section. In November 1990, he formed the firm of Jones Kurth & Treat. In July 1996, he joined with Mark Lindow to form Lindow & Treat.

David and his wife, Lisa, have four children. With the little free time left over from stewarding his progeny, David roots for the Boston Red Sox, listens to Rush (not Limbaugh), and hopes to write a novel.
